It's hot

We are still working on the new room and I am still gathering the garden and it is hot. The garden is starting to wind down. We are getting corn, tomatoes and squash. The peas are not doing too good in all the heat. I will probably pull up the corn next week. I still have loads of green tomatoes. I have been selling a few and have made over $100. I have already started planning next years garden. We are going to plant a separate pea and corn patch. Will add some jalapeno peppers too.

Don't know what we would do with out Daryl to help on the new room. He helped put the decking on one side of the roof on Tuesday. It was so hot and it is hard work to man handle a full sheet of plywood. I was up and down on the scaffolding helping when I could but it was a job and we have one more side to do. We also decided to put in an outside door instead of a window. It is starting to take shape and look like a room. We also put two sides up cause we had some extra help on Monday.

We got a shower of rain last nite and it looks like we are in line for some more tonite. I wanted to take a swim but it is thundering so I will wait till tomorrow. I got the whole yard mowed it took me three days but it really looks nice.
