more garden news

I am still staying busy in the garden. Kelley and I picked 7 gallons of purple hull peas on Wed. I got a big bucket of tomatoes and a few squash. Morgan helped too. I gave her two bell peppers to put in the bucket and she took big bites out of both of them. They must have been good cause she didn't want to give them up. She helped pick peas too. She sat down in the pea vines and had a pea in each hand and was eating them. Glad she likes her vegetables!!! We also got 10 ears of corn. We had it for supper and it was really good.

The room is shaping up. They have the walls up and the ridge up for the rafters. Johnny is about to make himself sick. Daryl has been a life saver. He comes and helps after he gets off work. I have learned to pull nails. I used the gun nailer once and that is enough! Johnny is going to show me how to mount the electric outlet boxes so that I can put them where I want them.

I got Spencer's quilt finished and I am still piecing on Kelley's quilt. We went to a garage sale the other day and I got two binders of quilt patterns. They are wonderful.
Got to get busy
