Happy 4th of July

We are celebrating by staying and and watching fireworks on TV. We had a shower this afternoon and it really cooled things off. But the humidity is really high. I finally got the yard mowed over it only took me three days!
We were in Mount Pleasant on Sunday nite thru Tuesday afternoon. JOhnny had a seminar and I just rested. Found a couple of antique shops to browse.
I am in the process of pulling up the garden plants. The tomtoes are finished and so is the corn. We still have a few squash, cucumbers, peppers and maybe some purple hulls. Thinking about doing a fall garden but haven't decided. Will wait till we get back from vacation. We are planning a trip to South Dakota, Mt. Rushmore and to Yellowstone Park.
The room is coming along great. Johnny's hydraulics were not working on the tractor so he has been working on that so he can use the bucket to put the shingles up on the roof. The room is "Dryed In" We got the doors and windows in. We got the interior door and the insulation. Now it is just a matter of getting it done. I am going to help Daryl and Kelley with their bedroom and texture the walls and ceiling so they can paint. We will see how that goes and we may do the bathroom too.
Live is busy but never boring in Splendora. Never dreamed I could be so content.
